Krystal Marie Ball

 Krystal Marie Ball was born on November 24, 1981. She is an American political commentator. Her previous roles included an presidential candidate as well as hosting a television show on MSNBC. She is also often a contributor to The Huffington Post, a frequent contributor to The Huffington Post, and co-host of The Hill's Rising with Saagar Ejeti. Enjeti and Ball have decided to stop the show in the month of May 2021. This was to allow for them to release Breaking Points (Krystal and Saagar). Ball co-hosts the show Krystal Kyle & Friends with Kyle Kulinski. She has appeared as a guest on networks like CNN, CNBC, Fox News and programs including Real Time with Bill Maher. Ball is engaged to Jonathan Dariyanani since 2020. Ball credits her ongoing fascination with politics to her experience as a new mom during the 2008 primaries. She also watched the US presidential election from Jordan when she was working there. She was able to observe the impact of the election on people in that country and, as a result, gained an appreciation of the global impact US politics has on all people in the world. She was a Senior Fellow with the New Leaders Council. Ball was the Democratic Party's nominee for Congress in Virginia’s 1st congressional District in 2010. She was defeated by Rob Wittman, the Republican incumbent. From June 2012 through July 2015, she was the co-host of The Cycle on MSNBC. She co-hosted The Cycle on MSNBC from June 2012 until July 2015.
